Jon, we will miss you ... were going to see you with Clem and Mark in Bluesgarage in Isernhagen, but you couldn't play the gig anymore.
So what will stay forever are many concerts with Colosseum, Paraphernalia and the UJRE where we met. You made life better for many people who enjoyed your playing the band. Your long lasting Love Affair with Barbara Thompson is a true prototype for me.

A little late perhaps but I just wanted to pay my own small tribute to the most amazing drummer. Loved his work – Walking in the Park was a favourite with my wife and I. We saw him many years back at Norwich Art Centre and we were blown away. He was very encouraging to my daughter who went on to become a music journalist.

Loved you man, you gave me everything with 'Live Colosseum', in 1971. The best drumming ever was on ' THE PIRATE'S DREAM', on Dick's solo album. You were my total idol. Your Colosseum music is in the top 10 albums ,with 3 three, entries!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that is up against the Stones, BEATLES, AND GOD !!!! HENDRIX. Totally love you man ,absolute GOD.

I was privileged to see Paraphernalia a number of times, twice at Holland Park (GLC) benefit gigs and then probably 8 times at the Stables + the OU when Jon was ill and Gary Husband covered for him. I also loved Colosseum and Colosseum II. Jon was the complete package for me. Subtle and exuberant , fast and powerful with fantastic solos. To see him play at close quarters was such a pleasure. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Very sorry to just learn of the death of Jon Hiseman. I believe he was one of the best rock and roll drummers of all time. And Colosseum, which he was largely responsible for forming, was one of the best groups of all time.
Jon, thanks so much for all the music you did. It has provided me with endless hours of enjoyment. You may be gone from earth, but you and your great contribution to music will never be forgotten.
