When I was 15 I watched 'sight and sound in concert' in early 1978 . On it was a band called Colosseum II whom I'd never heard of. That concert captured my imagination and for my birthday I got 'electric savage' which I still play regularly to this day. I later saw Paraphernalia live and got to meet Jon and Barbara in person. I'll always be grateful to them for opening up the ears of a young rock fan to jazz. Jon also took the trouble to answer a couple of emails some years later too. I've always done my best to spread the word on this music. It needs to be heard. So sad that we've lost possibly the best ever British drummer and a nice bloke.... Collapse
