It all started for me after buying an original of Colosseum's 'Valentine Suite' on Vertigo. I am still listening all these years late and am currently working on a comprehensive biography of Colosseum 1 and 2 for online resource The Great Rock Bible. There were many great drummers around but Jon was one of the best, certainly unsurpassed in the jazz rock idiom. He wrote great music as well of course and worked with top musicians. Jon will be sadly missed.... Collapse
