From the first time I saw Jon perform I was taken in by his musicianship and from that moment followed many of the projects which he performed right up to JCM and The Stables. I will never forget some of the conversations, tips and humour. Jon became the foundation for much of my own playing and often even today I think "I wonder what Jon would do here!"
