I first became aware of Jon from the John Mayall era and followed him ever since, seen the band many times over the years, he was one of the all time great Drummers, fascinating to watch and a real gentleman to talk to after a show and always obliging with an autograph, Jon will be a great loss to us all but we can all listen to his playing from his recordings....
