Colosseum was my first love. not sure where I heard them first, perhaps on John Peel's show. Anyhow I saw them in the Maryland Club in Glasgow, one of the first gigs with Chris Farlowe. He brought on a music stand! This was on a Vertigo package tour. Very soon afterwards they played at an all night Uni gig in Glasgow. The final time was at the Bingo Hall in Paisley High Street. What a band. I treasure these concerts. And one of their songs will be played at my funeral when it is my time. Condolences to his family and band colleagues. Above all THANKS... Collapse
